DR. JOHN REGAZZI

John is a specialist in marketing and brand development, innovation and strategic management evidenced by a broad range of market leading new product introductions he architected, directed and implemented in media, information and educational businesses.

John served as an executive director on the Elsevier Board (NYSE: ENL) and as CEO of Elsevier, Inc. from 1999-2005. Before that he served as President/CEO of Engineering Information, Inc. (1988 – 1999) the premier provider of information to engineers, corporations, institutes of higher education and government research around the world.

Presently John is Dean Emeritus and Professor of the college of information and computer science at the Long Island University.

John serves as a member of several corporate boards:

• Non-executive director BSI (British Standards Institute), Chairman and
• Founding Director of the Elsevier foundation, VP and non-executive board director Engineering Information foundation,
• Chairman NTIS advisory board. Previously he served as non-executive director on the Collexis board (semantic search) and as Chairman of CABI.
• John holds a Ph.D. from Rutgers University in Information Science and an MS from Columbia University.
